Heritage Baptist Academy
Home of the Samurai
Heritage Baptist Academy is dedicated to training young people in a Christian environment. We aid our students in developing a commitment to Christ, leadership skills, integrity, self discipline, responsibility and good citizenship. We offer a strong academic program which emphases Christian character, reading, writing, mathematics, bible and America history.
At Heritage Baptist Academy we foster a biblically sound atmosphere which caters to the spiritual needs of your children. By saturating our children with the Word of God, we teach morality and outstanding Christianity behavior.
Our Purpose:
The purpose of this biblically based, scripturally sound Baptist academy is to train our young boys and girls in the nurture and admonition of Lord, while at the same time passing on to them an education that will cause them to excel far beyond their counterparts.
What can parents expect at HBA?
Your child to be trained in the nurture and admonition of Lord, while at the same time passing on to them an education that will cause them to excel far beyond their counterparts.
What can the student expect at HBA?
They can expect to be trained both academically and spiritually.
They will know that they are special to God and can be all that God has called them to be.
What can the faculty expect at HBA?
Parents that are supportive of the curriculum and the polices.
Students that are respectful and ready to learn.
OUR OBJECTIVE:
I. Spiritual - To teach a Christian orientation to all thinking wherein God is central and Biblical principles are paramount, being applicable to every part of daily life.
II. Intellectual - To teach the knowledge and skills required for future study and for occupational competence.
III. Social -To teach students to have the proper respect for and response to authority and to have acceptable social skills when dealing with others.
CURRICULUM:
HBA uses the King James Bible and Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) system of individualized study.
ACE is accredited by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), the same association that accredits colleges and universities.
- It is designed to allow each student to work on his or her own level of achievement, which may vary from subject to subject.
- Afternoons group classes may include Fine Arts (Music and Art), PE, Living Skills, and study hall.
ACADEMICS:
Excelling will be the key word for every class and activity. The Christian has no excuse to present only his/her average effort. The student must strive to excel and to offer the Lord his/her best. Let us strive to have “Excellence without Egotism” so that we give Him the glory for anything we are able to achieve.
...whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” (1Corinthians 10:31)
